Minister Clarence Oliver Moore

McDonough Chapel Minister Clarence Oliver (Buster) Moore was born May 28, 1962 to the late James Square and Earline Moore Boyd (Charles Boyd). He departed his earthly life on Sunday, August 4, 2019. Minister Moore was a graduate of Wenonah High School in Birmingham, Alabama, then he later received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Services from University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. In 1985 he joined the ranks of the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant 0-2 then advanced to 0-3 Captain as a Communications Officer.He retired from the Military in June of 1994, in 1995 he joined the 48th Brigade National Guard. Upon his retirement from the U.S. Army he worked for the United States Postal Service in maintenance and operations and retired in 2012. On September 16, 1987, He married the love of his life, Sharon Annette Head. To this union four children were born. He was a devoted man of God. He served faithfully at St. Paul Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Antonia L Head, Sr as a Minister and the Intercessory Prayer Team Lead. He later joined the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church and served under the leadership of Pastor William Bert Neal, III until his death. His greatest fulfillment was his family being together, traveling, cooking and laughter. Minister Clarence Oliver (Buster) Moore leaves to cherish his memories his loving and faithful wife, Sharon Annette Moore, Children: Terrence Head, Tiffany Young, Kelsey Drakeford (Shameca), Keenan Moore (Jessyka), CassandriaDubery (John), and Lejuantaye Warren (Leslie). Brothers and Sisters: Vera Howard, Elvira Parks, Norris Scarbrough (Patricia), Derrick Prince, Janice Moore (Eric), Cedric Moore, Carlos Moore (Valisha) Traci Moore (Anthony), Kevin Moore, all of Birmingham, Alabama. Brother and Sister-in-Laws: Curtis Dallas, Ellis Head, Geraldine Head, Nellie Weaver, Vivian Duffie (Harold), Calvin Head (Ozella), John Arthur Head (Vander), Randolph C. Head (Sandra), Cale Ann Morgan (Luther), Angelia Head, Brendalyn Head, Iris Head, Melody Head, Pastor Antonia L Head, Sr. (Patricia), Mertanyas Rogers (Miller). Eleven Grandchildren: Kyren Palmer, Tayshawn Head, Dezmin Burns Davion Burns, Amarionna Head, JaMiah Carson, Jaluntray Hatcher, Jaquarious Hatcher Drakeford, Zion Hayes, Bryson Rowser, Morgan Dubery. A legionof devoted nieces and nephews from Georgia to Alabama – Kentucky – Cincinatti – Virginia - Germany. Special Friends: Iris & Ray Raines, Louvenia Jackson, Roderick Brownlee, Rufus Logan, Julie Logan, Ricky Weaver, Dale and Debbie Fambrough, and Rashannad Burton, The Hatcher Family, Myesha Ivey, and Janice Davis, and Trence Hollis, Fatima Young, Nesa Smith, Lisa Watts, Delecia Palmer.
