She was born on September 30, 1999, in Kennesaw, Georgia. Angelica received her education through the Clayton County School System, beginning at Edmonds Elementary School, continuing to Adamson Middle School, and completing her education at Morrow High School where she earned her high school diploma. Angelica touched the lives of many people along her journey. Together with her parents, she inspired the creation of a foundation titled “Walking in an Angel’s Footsteps.” Through the support of her siblings and the community, the foundation was able to bless many disabled children and their families throughout the Atlanta area and even in other states. Angelica was a proud member of New Life Community Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Webster B. Turner. In 2013, Angelica (affectionately known as “Geli”) later converted her membership to Tree of Life Church Ministries, where she was lovingly ordained as the “Minister of Smiles.” Angelica was a bright light not only within her family but throughout the community. As the oldest of three siblings, she held a special place in their hearts. “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 5:10,11) KJV She absolutely adored family gatherings and cherished the moments she spent with her siblings. She especially loved when her baby sister Maliyah would talk about her day while feeding her, bringing Maliyah joy and comfort. She also enjoyed special moments with her sister Mariana, where they would have their own little parties while Angelica played music, sang, and danced just to see her smile. Her baby brother and father always found ways to make her smile with funny faces and silly noises, often bringing laughter to the room. Angelica carried an amazing aura that inspired people to do right by God. Her smile alone could light up an entire room. Angelica loved traveling with her family to many places around the world, always carrying her favorite toy and enjoying many of her favorite foods. She enjoyed car rides on the way to church, watching the trees pass by along the road. Angelica was created by God and lovingly carried by a mother who adored her deeply and never wanted her to feel left out. Her mother and father made sure that Angelica lacked for nothing. They provided her with all her needs and then some, and ensured she was included in all family travels and activities. One of her mother’s greatest joys was seeing Angelica included and knowing that she was always loved and seen for who she truly was. Angelica will truly be missed—not only by her family but by the entire community. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV) Angelica Gloria Winslow departed this life on Monday, February 23, at 11:37 p.m. She leaves behind precious memories to be forever cherished by her parents, Marcus and Tanika Mosley; and her devoted siblings, Maliyah Mosley, Marcus Mosley Jr., and Mariana Mosley, her Grandfather Albert L. Wilkins and Grandmother Gloria G. Riley and a host of Uncles and Aunties and Cousins. Geli is proceeded in death by her Grandfather, Clifford T. Mosley Sr. and Grandmother Marian L.
