Snotie Albert

February 22, 1920 - July 1, 2020

The cemetery COVID-19 guideline for the graveside service has a 10 person limit. Anyone outside of that 10 will be asked to stay in their vehicles until the grave is covered. There will be no viewing at the cemetery. Our beloved grandmother, Snotie Albert, was born to Victor and Fannie Marshall on February 22, 1920 in Stockbridge, Georgia. She peacefully passed away on July 1, 2020,in Atlanta, Georgia. She reached the age of 100 years. Her childhood was spent growing up on the family farm in Stockbridge, where she was one of 13 children. At the age of 15,she married Dallas Bishop Sr. in Stockbridge, Georgia. She loved her husband until his death. She was a person who enjoyed life, which helped her to have a positive outlook and she enjoyed people and had her way of connecting with them to put everyone at ease. She enjoyed the challenges of tilling the soil and the awaiting harvest. And especially, she loved God’s great creation. She found relaxation in her cherished hobby of going fishing. She always seemed to know where to go to catch one. She was also one of the best cooks in the State of Georgia. She was a member of the Mother Board at St. John Missionary Baptist Church for many years. Snotie leaves to cherish her loving memory one sister, Eunice Hambrick: her grandchildren Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Bernard Bishop III, Gloria Woodard, Anita Woodard, Patrice Woodard: great grandchildren, Delores Bishop, Dedarius Bishop, Dejuonte Bishop: daughter-in-law, Rebecca Woodard: a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
