Ruby Wilson

January 20, 1929 - March 18, 2022

Ruby Holland Wilson was born January 20, 1929, in Stockbridge Georgia to the late Willis Holland and Pearlie Mae Cook Holland. She is preceded in death by four brothers and eight sisters. At an early age she moved to Holyoke Massachusetts where she worked as a nanny. She eventually retired from Diamond Match Company in Springfield Massachusetts. She loved reading and watching world events and listening to Gospel. CNN and MSNBC were her favorite channels. On December 6, 1958, she married the late Genus Wilson in Holyoke Massachusetts. To this union three children were born. She was a loving and devoted mother. On Friday, March 18, 2022, Ruby answered the Master’s call from Tranquility Hospital in Marietta Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memory her three children Brenda Joy Brown (Glennis) of Ludlow Massachusetts, Genus Maharis Wilson of Gaithersburg Maryland, Bridget Anne Byers (Christopher) of Kennesaw Georgia. She also had three great grandchildren Dominique, Diodre, and Yanni and two great great grandchildren Kaylee Marie and Savannah Rose. She also leaves her beloved friend Luzetta Terry and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her only grandson Alexander Atwell Malloy Jr.
