Celebration of Life Services for Pauline W. Hickman will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 3PM. These services will be recorded and streamed live. Quincy, FL 32351 850-627-3700 https://www.bradwellmortuaryfl.com/ A Time to be Born: Pauline Washington Hickman was born on June 4, 1944, to the late J.B. Washington Sr. and Emma Doyle Washington in Quincy, FL. A Time to Learn: Pauline graduated from Carter Parramore High School. After graduating from high school, she attended Jackson Junior College and later attended Florida A & M University. A Time to Commit: On March 23, 1967, Pauline married Mr. Edward Lee Hickman and together were blessed to share three children. A Time to be Involved: Pauline joined Union Chapel AME Church in Quincy, FL at a very young age. While residing in New York, she faithfully served at Saint James AME church located in Beacon, NY. Once she relocated to Jackson, GA she joined Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. While at Wesley Chapel she served as a Communion Steward, Church Greeter and regularly attended Sunday/Midday Bible Study. Pauline loved sharing the word of God. A Time to Die: On Saturday, May 21, 2022 God sent his angels to shepherd her to her eternal home. A Time to Mourn: Pauline Washington Hickman’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband Edward Lee Hickman and children Theodore Hickman (Piarie), Eric Hickman (Linda) and Kimberly Hunter (Christopher). Siblings; Betty Lou Hamilton(deceased) (Jesse B.), Ada Lee Ford, Bunion Bernard Washington(deceased), Willie Lee Washington (deceased) (Ruby), J.B. Washington Jr., and Hodges Lee Washington (Juanita); and a host of grand children who loved her dearly. She also leaves devoted nieces, nephews, close cousins, in-laws, God daughter and committed friends.
