Laura Barber Willingham was born in McDonough,Georgia on February 10,1936 to the late Johnnie Barber and Emma Lou Sharpe Barber. Mrs. Laura as she was affectionately known was a wonderful cook and known for her delicious cakes. She loved being a homemaker and worked domestically for many years. She went to school and was a member of Farguson Chapel Baptist in McDonough, Georgia until she could no longer attend. She passed away on October 6, 2020 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Floyd in June and 21 siblings. They shared 68 years together. She is survived by children, Annie Willingham Cook (Herman) of Stockbridge and Eva Willingham Hambright (Floyd) and son, Willie James Willingham of Covington, Georgia, five grandchildren, Telisa, Toshiki, Keith, Keisha, and Donta and 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Sisters, Lela Barber and Mattie Sue Barber of Griffin, sister-in-law Georgia Mae Ellis of McDonough, Georgia. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
