Joyce Ann Mason, daughter of the late Rufus Glenn and Lela Mae Miller Glenn was born on May 26, 1948 in Gastonia, NC. She went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the home of her son David Sincere Jr. of McDonough, GA. She was a member of the last graduating class at Highland Jr. Sr. High School in 1966. For years she was employed by Cigna Insurance after which she received her Medical Assistant Certification from Thompson Institute in Philadelphia, PA. In 2014 she retired from Georgetown University Medical Group, in Washington, D.C. as a Lead Medical Assistant. Joyce was a natural beauty with a huge heart full of love, compassion, and generosity. She enjoyed spending holidays with the family, traveling, and working out at the gym. Joyce Had a great sense of humor and her quick wit brought many smiles. Joyce loved the lord and loved singing so she could always be found lifting his name up in praise. When she wasn’t singing she was praying, a woman who would help to pray with or for someone though their situation or circumstances. While living in Maryland, she attended First Baptist Church of Glenarden where she was a member ofthe United Voices church choir. She was also a huge part of the church’s cancer ministry. After moving to Georgia in 2018, she joined Tabernacle of Praise Church International (TOPCI) in McDonough, GA. She leaves to cherish fond memories of 3 children: Alisia Mason Moore (Michael), Anthony Mason (Tiffany), and David Sincere Jr. (LaToya). 3 sisters: Patricia Smarr, McDonough, GA, Ballery Givens (Lester), and Robin Glenn both of Gastonia, NC.1 brother: Marvin Glenn (Verida), Las Vegas, NV. 10 grandchildren: Brianna and Maximilian Moore; Adaja Chandler, Ahyanah, Anthony Jr., and Le’AnthonyMason; Imani, Jamar, Kaliyah, and Omari Sincere, and a host of other relatives and friends. 2 special friends: Patricia Barbour and Diane Wilder. She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Betty Sue Phillips and 1 brother, Rufus Glenn Jr.
