Alice Ogletree

May 11, 1940 - May 15, 2022

Alice McClain Ogletree was born on May 11, 1940. She was the third child born to the late Ben and Florene McClain. On Sunday May 15, 2022 it was God’s will to call her to eternal rest. At an early age, she joined the Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. She served faithfully until she married and connected with Wolf Creek County Line Baptist Church, where she served until her health declined. Alice was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Anderson Ogletree. To this union they were blessed with two children Melissa and Dishan. She was educated in the Henry County School System. She later retired from Henry Medical Hospital. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Anderson, daughter Melissa, three brothers, and one sister. Alice leaves to cherish her loving and devoted son Dishan Ogletree, future daughter in Law Isaquanyia Phelps, and grandson Quincy Thrasher. Three sisters; Easter Ogletree (Charlie), Fostine Goodrich, and Dorothy Wade. A special sister Glady Rick (Joel). Two brother in Laws; James Ogletree and Charlie Pittman. Four sister in laws; Loreen Amis, Lucille Ogletree, Essie McClain, and Omadale McClain. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
